Girl's Night~~ :D

July 6th 2013

Woo hoo girl's night!! Nothing's more fun than hanging out with my girls and staying out late xD Last Saturday, I took a trip to Virginia with my friend Annie. First, we went to Tyson's Corner, a huge mall with a theatre and lots of awesome restaurants!

 Ok so interesting story about the dress above.... I lost it while we were at the mall, and didn't even realize it until my friend asked, "Where's your bag?" (I know, I'm an idiot -.-;;). So then we frantically searched everywhere that we'd been, but couldn't find it. Then, as a last resort, we checked Barnes & Nobles. I didn't think that it would be there, because I was sure that I had lost it somewhere else. But when we asked the customer service if they had a yellow bag with a dress inside... tada! They did! I was so happy!! This "unlucky-then-lucky" streak of mine happens pretty often.. I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing!

Afterwards we went to Ara, a Korean lounge in Annandale, for some food and karaoke! We ordered ddonkatsu and galbi, as well as yogurt soju~ This was the first time Annie had alchohol. At first she hated the taste, but as she drank more and more... Well, you know what happened! Haha!! But needless to say, we didn't get wasted!

When we were done with karaoke, it was 2am. We went to 7-11 to buy some snacks to munch on while we watched "Blair Witch Project" when we got back to my apartment. Let me tell you... I've regretted watching that movie ever since... I think it's the scariest movie I've seen.. @.@;;

Well, that weekend was fun. And this weekend will be exciting too, because Annie and 2 of our friends are going to Six Flags!

Hello~ I have several good news today. First, I got a job at Mathnasium! As the name suggests, it is a math academy. I'll be a tutor there! This is good because I am an elementary education major, so I will get experience. Plus, the pay is not too bad! ;) 

Also, I went on a "date" today. I say "date" cause we only hung out for a little bit hehe... But here was my makeup!:

I made a makeup tutorial video for a simple Korean makeup look on my youtube  here. It's quite similar to this look, except here I am also wearing false eyelashes and have a bit more makeup on the bottom eyelids. I think it's a pretty & simple look that's great for summer. Speaking of summer, anyone else notice it's been raining WAY TOO MUCH lately? Ughh I wish it would stop... -.- It's so humid too...

Oh yeah, and on Sunday, there was a big surprise in the bush in front of my house... an iguana!! Watch me freak out about it here. Haha....;; Well as it turns out, somebody had lost it. I called the person (they put up flyers), but unfortunately the iguana has disappeared since Sunday... I hope that it gets back to its owner and doesn't pop out randomly when I'm outside! Iguanas can bite! >.<

Time

As we grow, time seems to take greater presence in our lives. We are no longer children, who play so carelessly as if there is no yesterday or tomorrow. Sometimes, time affects us when we await to hear from one who we deeply admire and cannot resist thinking about. Other times, it presents itself when we look towards the future and begin asking "when?": When will I become this and that? When will I find my love? When will I be free from the foolishness of my naive mind? And then, when we look it the mirror, it strikes us again, as we realize how far we've come, reminiscing the past, and think of how much more time has in store for us. It is surely a mystery, something which can never be grasped. But time is a stubborn thing. Going, going, going, all throughout eternity. For so often we long for the past or wish for brighter promises in the future that we are left to helplessly hope to be able to bargain with time.

As I have grown, I have learned that time is like the wind, and I am but a tiny sail drifting in the ocean. I cannot fight against the currents the wind makes, but I can try to adjust my sails to maneuver through it. But the feeling of loss and regret that I feel when it carries me away from the things I so desire, no matter how ferociously I bend my sails this way and that, will be something that I cannot escape. I can only bear it with patience, and await for fortune to show up on the horizon.

June 5th, 2013 Vlog

A short vlog I did after getting ready to meet a friend. I was trying to record a makeup tutorial but it wasn't recording when I was putting it on... ;; And also, excuse all the noise >.< This is probably the worst blog ever!! xO

Partay and 6/17/13 Shopping adventure!!

Yesterday I went out (after a long time :P) and went clubbin' with my friends. It was really nice to party again after being cooped up at home for a long time.

Fun fun! Once school starts, I'll be living back at home with my parents so I won't be able to go out much :( I'm going to miss having fun like this!!

Anyways, today I woke up (not feeling too good if you know why @.@) and went to Tyson's mall with my friend. Apparently it's one of the biggest malls in America.

I was too tired to put on makeup.. -__-
